We managed to avoid most of the shops this weekend and instead got out and about. One of the local charities was running a Christmas tree festival which my children enjoyed looking around and voting for their favourite tree.
Elves are popular this year and I liked the simplicity of this little tree.
You need to see a close-up to really see the detail on this tree.

A Christmas tree made out of books.

The biggest Christmas tree was made out of a pile of tedybears. My children liked spotting all the toys they know.
After all of that we headed into Norwich and had a lovely walk around the cathedral with tea and cakes in their cafè.

The wonderful Christmas tree in Norwich Cathedral.
If you’ve done all your shopping then why not try and avoid the shops next weekend and see what else is happening.
