Pumpkins Everywhere

I do think it’s important to celebrate the seasons in order, Harvest Festival, Halloween, Bonfire Night and finally Christmas.  I couldn’t resist taking a couple of pictures of these lovely pumpkins this morning at our local farm shop.  Their bright orange and yellow skins really liven up a dull October morning.   I do think it’s such a shame that so much food will be wasted at the end of the month as Children hollow out pumpkins for Halloween.  I’ll try and find some good pumpkin recipes over the next few days and add them to the recipe section, after all the Americans are well known for enjoying Pumpkin Pie with their turkey dinner at Thanksgiving.

If you have any good Pumpkin recipes that you’d like to share please e-mail them to me. (See the About section for contact details.)

Have a nice weekend.
