Next Christmas

I have been a fan of the High Street Store Next for years.  I say High Street, but of course Next were at the forefront of mail order long before access to the internet revolutionised the way we shop.  This put them in a good position to capitalise front the online shopping revolution as they certainly had the infrastructure for providing an excellent delivery service while their competitors were still in planning.  Having said all that, they also have the knack of providing desirable clothes and homeware that are aspirational yet affordable.  With Christmas drawing ever closer, it is a good time to look at the Next offering at Christmas.  It is wonderful to have new things to wear at Christmas be it for Christmas parties or Christmas Day itself.  There is something about the indulgence of Christmas that means you can wear velvet and lace and shimmer all at once!  I particularly love the jewel colours that have appeared this year which hopefully should persuade us all away from our black uniform.  This blue print skirt is great with a jacket or top for day or can be dressed up with a beautiful blouse and a pair of high heels or satin long boots for evening.
