With moving to a new home the garden is s little sparse at the moment so I have been thinking of ways to brighten us up a little at Christmas. There really isn’t anything that escapes the effects of Christmas including areas of the home. I was happy to see that the wonderful garden centre that is Dobbies actually have page dedicated to this called Dress your front door. I like their Cranmere Wreath as it had the right amount of traditional mixed with a sprinkling of Christmas Glitter to welcome people with some Christmas Cheer.

I think my children would like the Santa Stop Here Sign as since our house move they are both concerned that Santa will not know where they have moved to. This sign would certainly assist Santa and although it is not available via a on-line order there are plenty of Dobbies stores around the country from which you can purchase.

Moving away slightly from the front door and if you can manage the electrics, my favourite Christmas decorations are always lights. Given the chance I would have the lights up outside all year round – tasteful ones, of course. I think these white lights from Homebase are great value at £5 or the unusual light bulb lights which are also for outdoor use.
