The Boots Christmas 2011 Brochure arrived late last week and it’s quite impressive at 307 pages. It’s obviously got all the mass market brands of perfume and makeup you’d expect from Boot but I was also pleased and somewhat surprised to see some more unusual gift ideas.
For example they have a range of exclusive Marmite branded gifts and I particularly liked this Marmite Egg Cut Set for £10. You could imagine giving this to a friend who has particularly strong views on the merits of Marmite or even to a child who will appreciate a special egg cup to go with his egg and soldiers.
I also liked the Tiptree Breakfast Hamper for £18. The set includes a ceramic toast rack, English Breakfast Tea, 2 Ceramic Bowls for jam, two spoons and a couple of jars of Tiptree preserves. An ideal small token present for a relative or sibling.
There are many more great little gift ideas like this in the Boots Christmas brochure this year and I’d say it’s well worth getting you hands on a copy for some gift inspiration this Christmas. The good thing these days is that you don’t even need to go into town to buy gifts from Boots and they have a good website and will deliver to your doorstep.
Have you seen something you like in the Boots brochure or someone else’s? Do let me know by leaving a comment below.
I am going to UK for Christmas. I love going back and seeing all those traditional English brands. Can’t wait to walk down the high street in the cold and buying good old English Things!!!
